Colaiste Eamann Ris held their annual school awards on monday last 30/5/16. The awards acknowledged the efforts of individual pupils who put in a massive effort both academically and socially throughout the school year. Students of the year, attendance, sporting achievements and academic achievements were all recognized. The prestigious Blessed Edmund Rice award was awarded to a pupil from each year group who epitomized all that is good within Colaiste Eamann Ris, these students excelled throughout the year in their studies, were involved in sports and showed kind nature to their peers and staff.
Br.Brennan and Mr.Jackman congratulated the award winners and all the students for their efforts during the year, also they reminded those that didn’t win awards on the day that with the right attitude and approach to school life they too could be receiving awards this time next year.
Congratulations to all the award winners and best of luck to those going on to sit exams in the coming weeks.
