Colaiste Eamann Ris are very proud to have been selected as one of the small number of schools to play in the Croke Park U-14 Super games on the 26th of September. The 9 aside tournament will host a small number of teams from the four provinces, players will be rotated in and out of the teams throughout the games.This is a huge honour for the players involved and may be a once in a life time opportunity for many to take to the field of one of the finest stadiums in the world.
Dressing Rooms & Equipment:
Schools will get the opportunity to walk through Cusack Dressing Room 3 onto the pitch for their games.
In the event of inclement weather, players are advised to bring a spare change of clothes. The Davin dressing rooms will be made available if required. Please note there is no storage area for kit bags available.
Players/Schools are reminded to bring their own equipment (hurley’s/helmets/sliotars/gaelic footballs). Croke Park will provide match balls to referee’s for the games and a small quantity of spare hurleys/helmets will be available in the event that replacements are required.
Players are asked to bring white togs and black and red socks if possible.
Lunch:
Please bring a packed lunch. A dining area in Cusack 402-404 will be available for players to have lunch in.
Concession Unit Cusack Stand section 307 will be open on the day & will sell sandwiches/refreshments/tea’s/coffee’s.
Staff & Volunteers will receive lunch in Denis Gorey’s Canteen in the Cusack Service Tunnel.
Travelling Details:
Bus Leaves school at 11:15 am.
Matches from 3:50 apx
Arrive home at 7:30 apx
All students must wear their School uniform.
