On Tuesday Mr Casey, Mr Jackman and 24 enthusiastic Geographers made their way to the Wicklow Mountains for a forensic analysis of the local river system.
Whilst the goal of the trip was preparation for their upcoming state exams it was very apparent during the day that there are many budding geologists and cartographers in our sixth year group.
The group inspected river discharge, river volume, river gradient and river bed-load. They also held various discussions around the differing bed rock in this region of Wicklow
