Our Junior hurlers lost out in the Leinster Semi Final to Presentation Bagnelstown in Carlow on Wednesday. This was a tightly contested game with a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-13. The team showed tremendous character, led by captain Rob Culleton, Paddy Brennan, Shane Morris and Liam Hennessy in particular, to claw their way back into the game after being six points down at half time. Overall it has been testing campaign with five hard fought matches and our hurlers have given nothing but their best all the way through. No doubt our players will take the positives out of it and continue their development as hurlers and also as young men going forward.
