Remote Learning

Good Evening All,
I hope you and your family well are keeping safe and well in these challenging times.
It is understandable that recent Government announcements may have caused some confusion for both parents and students. I can assure you that we will do our best to support all of our students during this time. We would ask you to encourage your son to engage fully with his school timetable so that he does not fall behind in his different subject areas.
Online Teaching and learning will commence from Monday, January 11th for all class groups at 9.am. Our aim as a school, is to make this experience as close to in-school learning as possible for our students therefore we will expect all students to follow their school timetable as normal. Live/Recorded lessons will be provided for students as of their timetable, via Microsoft Teams and work can be submitted via OneNote. This is a common approach agreed by all teachers and will avoid any confusion or mis understanding for students. Student attendance will still be taken daily on VSWare, and it is very important to engage fully with all classes.  A text will be sent home at the end of each school day if you son has not participated or engaged in his online classes. This will hopefully keep you updated of your son’s progress.
If you and/or your son encounter any issues over the coming weeks regarding internet access, access to a device etc. please send an email to the relevant email address below with your son’s name and phone number and we will do our best to have the issue resolved as soon as possible for you.
